# Allow users draw down Parsing control panel

After importing an excel file into OpenRefine, my first thought was that I could draw down the parsing control panel to fully preview my data before proceeding to create project but that didn’t work as the panel is not drawable.

I’m thinking most new users of OpenRefine will most likely have the same thought and encounter the same issue and maybe, we can redesign the panel to draw either up or down depending on the direction the user drags to.

Yes i agree, i noticed this too, it greatly reduces the users workspace experience
