# Funding Opportunities 2025

Hello here,

Here’s another update on our fundraising efforts:

- The [OTF has rejected our application](https://forum.openrefine.org/t/partnership-opportunity-with-superbloom-via-the-otf/2232/4)
- We submitted an application to the [Research Software Maintenance Fund Application](https://forum.openrefine.org/t/funding-opportunity-seeking-ukri-eligible-partner-for-research-software-maintenance-fund-application/2233) you can review it [here](https://openrefine.org/funding#2025-research-software-maintenance-fund)
- I have created a dedicated thread regarding floss.fund and the proposed new sponsorship tier. You can find it here [FLOSS.fund Application & 2025 Year-End Giving](https://forum.openrefine.org/t/floss-fund-application-2025-year-end-giving/2377)
- We have deprioritized Fidelity due to the complexity of their Letter of Intent (LOI) and lower success chances.

Currently, we do not have any identified grant opportunities. My next focus will be on reaching out to individual funders and Program Officers based on the two-pagers I shared previously and the updated sponsorship tier.

If you know of any funding sources that may meet our needs, please let me know. I would be happy to explore how we can engage with them.
