# Funding Opportunities 2025

Hi everyone,

As we close November, I wanted to share an update on where things stand with our 2025 funding efforts.

- Our applications to **NLNet** and **Digital Science** were not selected.
- We are continuing engagement with several institutional and philanthropic donors. These conversations are ongoing and we will share updates as soon as anything becomes concrete.
- We are currently finalizing the **Sloan Letter of Interest** , which we plan to send before the end of the year: [Funding Opportunity: 2025 Sloan Letter of Interest](https://forum.openrefine.org/t/funding-opportunity-2025-sloan-letter-of-interest/2643)
- With the help of CS&S and our Advisory Committee, we drafted an **Institutional Support Package** we aim to launch in early 2026. We welcome feedback here: [Exploring an Institutional Package Model](https://forum.openrefine.org/t/exploring-an-institutional-package-model/2642)
- On the community side, our **Community Giving Campaign** is underway. Thanks to early support we have now reached **51%** of our USD 50,000 goal. We’ll continue to share transparent updates here as the campaign progresses. Thank you again to everyone who has supported OpenRefine through donations, feedback, or participation. Your engagement plays a key role in keeping the project healthy.
