### Events

- Martin to start advertising and open registration for the BarCamp
- Wikimedia North America New York City from October 16–19, 2025
- CZI open science in Carlsbad, South California, October 19 to 22. CS&S recommends that OpenRefine attend for the following reasons:
  - to receive an update on the future of the EOSS program,
  - to meet other funders, and
  - to connect with the CS&S team and sponsored projects.

### Funding

- [The Research Software Maintenance Fund](https://forum.openrefine.org/t/funding-opportunity-seeking-ukri-eligible-partner-for-research-software-maintenance-fund-application/2233) Expression of Interest is submitted.
- Martin to request an no cost extension for the [EOSS-5 grant](https://openrefine.org/funding#2022-eoss-5) until Dec 31, 2025.
- Next Martin will look at revamping the crowdsourcing structure for OpenRefine in preparation of the floss.fund application.
- The group continued to review the list of Program Officers we can reach out to.
