“Add column from reconciled values” fails when typing Wikidata properties manually

Hello,

I’m having a problem in OpenRefine when trying to add columns from reconciled values with Wikidata.

What I need to do is use Add columns from reconciled values after reconciling my cells with Wikidata. Once I have selected the reconciliation matches, choosing Add column from reconciled values... opens the dialog where I can select which related information to import into new columns.

If I choose a property from the suggested list, it works fine. However, if I manually type the property I want to add, I always get this error message:

“Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again later.”

This has never worked for me.

I’m attaching a screenshot of the error. For example, in the screenshot I type “birth”, and the error appears immediately, even though suggestions are shown below.

Has anyone seen this before or know what might be causing it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I’ve been having the same problem for a few days now. I hope a solution will be found soon:/

Hello, this is a known issue, and we are actively working to find a resolution. However, it involves several parties to coordinate, and we don't have a resolution timeline yet.

I encountered the same error weeks ago. It was solved a for a little while then it started again and its been the same in the last few weeks unfortunately.
