Error message while translating

I’m translating OpenRefine into Catalan, and sometimes I’m getting an error message:

S'ha desat la traducció, però hi ha comprovacions fallides noves: MessageFormat de Java

Which means that the translation has been saved, but there have been some failures related to the format in Java.

This is happening when I use an apostrophe in some strings. Should I escape the apostrophe with a backslash character?

BTW, the error message only shows once. If a save the translation again, without any change, there is no error message.

Now I see there is a message on the right side which says that I need to pair an apostrophe with another apostrophe, but I’m not writing code, just using a text apostrophe. Still, I don’t know if I need to backslash it.
