Extending
The group also discussed extending Martin’s current hours allocation through October 31 without increasing the overall budget. This would reduce the weekly allocation from approximately 10 hours to 7 hours and provide additional time to:
- process and follow up on the 2026 user survey results;
- maintain continuity while awaiting the outcome of the OS4LS funding application
Under this approach, the remaining approximately 90 hours would be distributed through the end of October rather than ending in early October.

We have received 63 answers so far, at a rate of ~2 per day.
Martin and the Advisory Committee will continue the outreach effort with
- Sending it to OpenRefine newsletter (~300 members)
- Posting on discussion list and forum for our communities, including Libraries, OpenStreetMap, and data journalists...
Community calls
Martin confirmed and published the details of the upcoming Community Call: OpenRefine Developer AMA (Ask Me Anything)
Martin reached out to a potential speaker to organize a session to present reconciliation services.
Jan shared the name of a potential presenter for a Wikimedia training session. Martin will follow up with them.
Wikidata reconciliation endpoint
The maintenance and governance situation for the Wikidata reconciliation service is now resolved, with the service hosted on Wikimedia infrastructure and additional maintainers in place.
Martin will update the draft blog post (PR #568) to reflect the current situation and prepare it for publication.
Figma status
Martin will move the account to a free plan.
2026 fundraising campaign
The group discussed whether to run another year-end fundraising campaign in 2026.
A campaign similar to last year would require limited additional work, as existing materials could be reused and most outreach could be scheduled in advance through HubSpot and Buffer.
Last year’s campaign raised approximately USD 1,000. While this level of fundraising would not support staff costs, it could help cover expenses such as software licenses and bounties.
The group will decide whether to proceed with a similar campaign for 2026.
