Governance Discussions
- We have agreed on a date to schedule the next call with Danielle from CS&S (following August 1st, 2024, Advisory Committee and CS&S).
- Julie and Martin discussed the perspective from The Alliance/Compute Canada and Calcul Quebec. Julie will share her thoughts on the forum Improving Transparency: Advisory Committee's Role and Community Involvement.
- We have also identified the need to build a stakeholder map to identify different individuals and organizations relying on OpenRefine. The goal is to understand their needs, interests, and risks (financial, reputation, and technical) regarding the project.
EOSS-Diversity budget allocation
Julie and Martin have reviewed the SOW proposed by Vivra (formerly the Bocoup team) to create a Conflict Charter and Communication Norms or their Roadmap Priority-Setting Process & Evaluation Criteria as the next step. Both Julie and Martin feel that this is not a priority for the project. We will wait for a larger quorum before making a decision regarding the proposed SOW and allocating the remaining EOSS-diversity funds.
