OpenRefine had shown some technical difficulties and uploaded items when saying they didn’t upload. Now things have been uploaded many times, each assigning new QID so there are so many duplicates! I want to start completely from scratch. Wikidata community definitely seems upset with me now and I need a fix to this as soon as possible.

I am not sure which batches are yours, but you should be able to find them here:
https://editgroups.toolforge.org/?tool=OR&tags=wbeditentity-create-item
From there, you can request each of those batches to be reverted as a whole.
Thank you that is very helpful! I have requested for all 6 repeats to be removed. I am surprised that any of this got onto WikiBase with the failure in the OpenRefine end for upload.
Do you know how long it usually takes to remove the uploaded batches?
