Hi @Jean_Neves,
Thanks for reporting this! This is very puzzling. Could it be that you are using a proxy (perhaps on a work computer with settings defined by your organization?). Can you access Wikidata with your browser?
Which version of OpenRefine are you using?

Yes, we use a proxy, but it should not be an issue (Not sure) because it was working fine for a week, and the only thing that changed was windows updates.

Yes, wikidata is accessible from the browser.

The version is OpenRefine 3.6.2

Sorry for dropping the ball on this. To make progress, I would need instructions to be able to reproduce the issue independently.

So the questions that come to mind are:

  • Which version of Windows are you using?
  • How is the proxy configured in Windows? (Not being familiar with Windows myself it would be super helpful to have rather detailed instructions of how I could do the same on a Windows machine myself)
  • How is the proxy configured in OpenRefine? That is normally done by editing the refine.ini file: if you could share the contents of that file, it would be great.
  • What sort of software is the proxy running? I assume that it might be hard to set up an equivalent server or for you to share credentials to the server you are using and I might be able to reproduce the issue with a SOCKS proxy set up via SSH on a server of mine, but any information you can share might help.

Once we have that information, we can open a GitHub issue about the problem. I might not be able to work on this myself directly because I do not have a Windows machine at hand, but others might be able to help.
