Birdaro - Extension Developer Update
Rory and Julie coordinated for the release of the Extension Developer playbook drafted during the Birdaro program:
- Rory will address the current open comments and suggestions in the document before the next AC meeting on January 22
- Julie will add the document in the shared Google Drive folder
- Rory and Julie will share the document with other AC member the the Core Dev Group for review and comment.

Julie and Martin shared update regarding the partnership with Open Food Fact Canada
Debian package update
The group discussed the proposition from Freexian to renew its support for maintaining the OpenRefine Debian package (see OpenRefine in Debian 2025 for their most recent update).
The group is interested in the following before making a decision
- What is the usage and number of downloads for the Debian package
- Is their HPC usage?
- Should we better promote?
Budget
Martin is working on a different budget scenario for 2026. He will present them to the Advisory Committee next week.
