CS&S Dormant Policy
The group reviews the updated dormant policy and proposal from CS&S in preparation for the monthly meeting on November 5, 2026.
During November and December 2026, OpenRefine leadership will work with CS&S to complete the transition from active operations to Dormant Status.
Advisory Committee Meeting Frequency Changes
The group will now meet monthly on the first Thursday of the month at the same time. Meetings with CS&S will now be quarterly (to be confirmed at the Nov 5 meeting with CS&S). The advisory committee may meet on an irregular schedule to address specific topics, such as grant applications.
Update to the funding page

Interest in joining the Advisory Committee
Through the 2026 survey, 5 respondents indicated their interest in joining the Advisory Committee.
We initially decided to postpone the outreach until we knew more about the funding status and relationship with CS&S.
@Ainali offered to reach out to them after the next CS&S call and invite them to the December Advisory Committee call.
