Hello everyone, a little while ago I attempted moving a set of files with books scan from one category ( Verjaardag Wikimedia Commons 20 jaar to another ( Category:Universiteitsbibliotheek Maastricht upload 24-08. I did this by replacing the old category name with the new category name in the Wikitext in OpenRefine. The files were moved, but for some reason the files are still in the old category. However, if I check the wikitext for the individual files the old category name isn't there anymore..

Hopefully one of you will be able to solve this puzzle because I have been at a loss but would really like this to be fixed.. Thank you so much for any help or pointers you might have!

Puzzling indeed! I think the culprit is the {{Universiteitsbibliotheek Maastricht}} template that is included in the wikitext of those files. If you look at the source for this template, you'll find that it automatically adds the page to the Verjaardag Wikimedia Commons 20 jaar category if some condition is met (as far as I can tell):

So you could change the template to fix this, or remove the uses of the template in your wikitext.
