Project failing to load

Hello,
this might be related to this topic, but I'm not sure. I added 1 single blank row and shortly after the project crashed (with a Java related error message, sorry no screenshot) and cannot be opened again, the endless spinning wheel. The project is medium-sized, less than 4000 entries, only partly reconciled with Wikidata.

  • Mac, Monterey
  • Opera (instead of Chrome, worked fine for quite a while now)
  • OR 3.9.2
  • no sign of corruption in the project folder

Interestingly, I can open the project in a Windows environment. I tried to export and re-import to Mac, but no avail.

Is there a recipe to recover the project, like what @antonin_d did in the other thread?

Hi @colognella, welcome to the forum! I think your link goes to a different page than you meant; are you talking about the bug discussed in this thread?
If so, I'm not sure how @antonin_d recovered that project, but the fix for this issue should be released tomorrow as part of Releasing 3.9.3
