Seeking Input on New Developer Role for OpenRefine

Following today's Advisory Committee call, the process for process and timeline is the following

The proposed interview process would be the following:

  • November 25 Martin publishes the posting and starts distributing it
  • Martin centralizes the resume on a Google Drive shared with the hiring committee.
  • Martin shares resumes with the hiring committee (@tfmorris, the Advisory Committee, and other volunteers for the process) for review and select who he wants to speak with.
  • Martin does a 30-minute screening to make sure that the applicants are legitimately applying for the work starting Dec 9.
  • Tom does the technical interview with Martin, supporting the process.
    • Martin to coordinate with Tom regarding availability
  • Interview to discuss the position and validate motivation (member of the hiring committee).

We (the advisory committee and project manager) would be happy to have community members participate in the process. Please let me know if you'd like to be part of the hiring committee.
