- The last 30 minutes were only Julie, Jan, and Martin.
Discussion with CS&S
OpenRefine Project Update
Martin provided an update on
- the 2026 Community Call series
- the status of the wikidata reconciliation service
CS&S informed us that the Apple Developer account has been renewed for another year; next due date is May 28, 2027
Finance
Martin asked Ron a question about how we model the different grants we applied for in the FY 27 Budget. We should forecast the revenue, but since the success rate is under 75%, we should not plan the expenses related to those grants.
Fundraising
- Ron provided an update from the FLOSS/Fund. We should receive the fund by the end of the month.
- Martin submitted the application ot the OTF
- We are seriously considering applying to the new Open Source for the Life Sciences - Open Source for Science Fund, which is a follow-up fund from the CZI EOSS series. The letter of interest is due June 8
- We also plan to apply to Nominate OSS for Funding — Open Source Endowment
Advisory Committee Meeting (without CS&S)
Julie, Jan, and Martin continue to discuss the OS4Science grant for the remainder of the call.
