- Funding Opportunity: 2025 Sloan Letter of Interest
- Exploring an Institutional Package Model, Jan shared insights from the Linux Foundation course on the EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA).
He confirmed that the act does not apply to OpenRefine, since we are a non-profit and not operating for profit beyond covering costs.
Federated Open Data Repositories for Open Science
- The group discussed the status of Discussion: How OpenRefine Can Support Federated Data Repositories for Open Science? following recent conversations at the CZI Open Science conference and Martin attendance to the Cometdata meeting.
- Julie will follow up with Birdaro participants to see their take
*A need was identified to better manage API queries from OpenRefine when working with DOI platforms, including:- Managing API credentials as secret
- Parsing JSON results

Rory and Julie have started drafting the Why and Who sections of the Birdaro playbook.
Annual Review:
- We need to schedule this year’s review and locate last year’s interview template.
- Martin will research the template and supporting documents used in the previous review.
